would breaking the guts out of the catalytic converter better the flow or hurt the back flow

I have the same truck and looks like the same ticking issue. Did you ever figure out what happened?

I don't how much it cost me, it's all custom. I put in white LED strips in em and plug in LED bulbs and soon to put LED SMDs in the needles. It took a lot of time and patience. You can't just go out and buy one you have to do it :/ . So if you want to know anything else hit me up. Glad to help!
