Use painters tape. The blue or green work the best

If you paint the chrome part your light out put would be horrible.

Ya it will pop off. You will see the alignment holes to line up the new one.

Get some fishing line and run it up and down cutting the adhesive. You you can just pull them off if you dont wanna keep them.
