i don't think they are going to bolt in, but with the right tools and enough money anything is possible.

I got my shackles from auto zone for $30.00 they are 2 1/2 to 3 inch drop then i cranked my t-bars 5 turns on the right and 5 1/2 on the left. you will have to do a little trimming they will still hit at full lock or when you go over a big bump when you turn but it is not bad.

I have about 5k into the rebuild, that includes machine work, rebuild on the trans, aluminum heads and all new internals for the engine, I got a cheap explorer for all the parts, your ranger's transmission will not work with a 5.0, the 8.8 with 4.10s will be alright though, I'm also using a lot of other parts from the explorer (radiator, wiring harness, all the acessories from the 5.0, motor mounts, etc.) and I've also got some mustang fuel injection parts, it might take a little creativity to make it all work

yeah we took our time building it, at first I was gonna drop the motor in stock, then we were just gonna freshen it, then we decided to just build the whole damn thing, my friend ported the heads in his off time, I ordered more parts as I felt like spending the money on it, and we put it all together as we had the time to do it, my friend that helped me and I both have full time jobs and have other responsibilites outside of work so sometimes its hard to get to our projects, as far as tips go, its good to have another car to drive while the truck is apart, have the proper tools and a good place to work at your disposal, if you get machine work done on the block like I did pay the extra money to have a reputable shop do the work, its definetly a "get what you pay for" situation
