Sorry I don't log on very often. They are located on the drivers side near the shifter. they have a 5/16 square end and a 3/4 lock nut.

Hello friend I was curious to know where the OD bands might be located in the ranger? I am having O/D problems and want to try all the cheap solutions before I start dumping money into it....

Having issues with my pl,pw,mirrors, and rke swap and was going to see if you could provide some assistance. Have 99 ranger and donor was a 00. I was able to get the locks and mirrors to work, but no such luck on windows. Unsure of which power wire is used for the windows. Any help is appreciated! Im in St Albans, WV by the way. I have never bought replacement heads, I always have spares laying around...lol I guess for you the best option would be new or used and have a machine shop check them out.

    Hello there,
I own a 2000 Ranger with the 3.0L and recently had a Ford mechanic tell me that my low compression in cylinder 6 is due to failed valves or a cracked head and suggested engine replacement (Like I have $4000 for that).

I saw your description of the head replacement on #20 and found it really informative. Quick question: where would you suggest me looking for a new set of heads? I rely on this as my daily driver so need quality parts. Thanks!

    Hi John-
Chris Sullivan pointed me your way--I'm thinking about modding a '01-'03 power Dome hood to fit my '04 and he said that you've done it. How big a job is it and what is involved? Do you have a How To? I'm no body man, but I'm pretty handy with a cut-off wheel and fiberglass.
    Thanks for your help.
