    pull it from the top, pry it up and start at the corner. Use a flat pry bar and put a thick towel under it so you dont scratch the paint. You can get the paint at Walmart. One can should do it

    buy some Krylon fusion satin black and paint it. give it about 5 coats and let it dry for a few days before you put it back on
