I live in San Diego, but have worked in the L.A. area two different times, over the last 20-yes. or so. There's not alot of commercial aviation here in San Diego. My Ranger seems to be running good, so I'm taking a long drive this week up to northern Cal. Hopefully it won't let me down.

I used to live in San Diego county. I now live near the Couer d'Alene airport in N. Idaho, hence the pic. Grew up around airports, my uncle worked for General Dynamics and Boeing. I'm into aviation, just not in the way you are. What part of SCal are you located. Mother is still in San Diego, daughters in Chino Hills and Monterey.
