    I had a 5.0 from 96 Explorer 2wd swapped into my 96 Ranger 2wd tight fit but it works. Hedman headers from Summit work well. The aode from the Explorer fit and worked also. You could drop it in the standard way through the engine bay but we opted to lift the body off the chassis and set it in easily. The ECU from the Explorer popped right into the opening where the 3.0 ECU was.
