Well seeing as there is no desert in StLouis, the prerunner look out here would be lame. I lived in Southern California for 20 plus years, and there were prerunners all over the place. BECAUSE THEY TOOK THEM TO THE DUNES! Not just running up and down the street like a bunch of posers. As far as cholo/hood looking in regards to lowered trucks/cars, do a little research and educate your feeble narrow mind. Hot rods, led sleds, lowriders were originally built as early as the early thirties. It got real popular after WWII. Not sure what you are referring them as to cholo/ hood? is that some sort of demeaning slur inferring that this genre of customizing is only done by Latinos or African Americans? If that is the case....stop posting your b.s.

I live in east stl for a while and saw tons of lowered cars or cars with giants rims down there. Hence why I calld it hood

Not sure how long ago you lived in East Saint Louis, (don't care), but from what I seen the car guys in that area like to cruise in cars with big wheels that are raised up. Not lowered. For example

Which looking at these two fine examples I see huge similarity in these "dunks" as they are refered to and your beloved pre-runner look. Example liffted 2wd with front end up, and serves no real purpose on the street.

See the similarities?

Now none of these look anything like the fine examples of lowered Ford Rangers at Ranger Round-up.

So once again before you open your pie hole you may want to educate yourself first.
