He's really lucky he had the skid on, but the bad thing about sand is it gets everywhere. You basically have to wash your tuck, then take everything apart and clean/re-grease everything that needs it

Yeah I've done some sand at the OBX and it gets everywhere and you do have to wash it. Worst part is how it flings everywhere and you find it places you wouldn't think haha. I gotcha though.

Like when you fall trying to climb up the hill to get back to your stuck truck and it goes down your shirt and up your pants, but your sweaty so it sticks to you and you can't get it off! Yeah it sucks lol

Lol that is why I have a "stock" skid plate. So people think. It has a 1" square tubing frame under it and is bolted to the cross member and frame with nuts welded into the frame. Then the "skin" aka skid plate bolts to it. Keeps my front cross member from moving also
