Default 4/5 install today, anything i need or need to know in advance?

I already have a 2/3 drop installed and am transitioning to the DJM 4/5 today. So just installing the front control arms, shocks, and going back to my original shackle. I am mainly concerned about the front control arm installation, i have never done it before and need to get it done today. Are there any special tools that i need that arent completely obvious?

PM Darkside or Low2.3. I believe they both have the same set-ups and could give you extensive help on this

Don't need anything special, just unbolt your stock arms, then out the DJM arms in place. You might need a rubber mallet to make them go in a little easier, also make sure that the upper arm with the dot by the ball joint goes on the passenger side

OP, did you already prep the upper and lower control arms by drilling into them for the zerk grease fittings?

Status update: 10 hours of manual labor later, and a whole lot of pounding and everything is in. I just need to put the bed back on, get an alignment and i am good to go. I did basically the entire thing by myself with a bottle jack, which seriously extended the amount of time it took me. Haven't taken a measurement yet but i am sure i got right around 2" up front and around the same in the rear

Rear end looks like it is sitting real high with the bed on, hopefully it settles down some more. Only issue is a intermittent clunk coming from the left side, not sure if something is in a bind or the spring isn't seated properly.?.?.? Hopefully an alignment will fix it, wont be driving it much until that gets sorted out.

nope, still have plenty of clearance in the rear, more than i would like. truck was originally a fleet truck and i think it may have higher load leafs in the rear. always has sat real high compared to other 2wd rangers.

i fixed the clunking coming from the front end, driver side coil spring wasn't seated properly, easy fix.

after driving around the block a couple times i noticed that the steering wasn't feeling right, it felt loose and had a slight pull to the right. is this something that is normal after the install and should be fixed by an alignment?
