Default 2/4 Drop?

I've been looking more into lowering. When I do it I don't want it to be too low, but a little difference would be nice. So I'll be doing a shackle flip soon for 2" off the back, then the front and back should be almost even. However, if I were to get some coils and take 2" off the front, then it would sit how it does now and that's not what I want. So I would need 2" off the front and 2" off the back with flipped shackles (or I could unflip the shackles and use something else to take it down 4"). Then this should theoretically make it even?

So for a 2/4 drop, from what I understand I would need 2" drop coils in the front, a flip kit in the rear, and nitro slammers all around. Is this correct?

Am I making any sense at all?

All makes sense, and is doable, but why not just get a 3/5 kit with drop beams for the front and flip kit in back?

It's that simple Stewart so just do it already lol
But yeah that's everything and it'll ride fantastic......oh and 4 degree camber bushings to align it I'm pretty sure NAPA sells them

2/4 is cheaper and 87-97 trucks is only 3/4 kit

This. I think I'll do it when I get new shocks. Instead of getting OEM shocks ill get the nitro slammers and just get everything else at the same time. This will probably happen when I have some of my own cash flow.

Do NOT get the nitro slammers for the rear. Get Nissan hardbody shocks for the rear

Yeah that's what I'm running $20 each you can't beat it but I wander if the ride would improve with nitro slammers

The Nitro Slammers I sell for the Ranger rear drops are a similar length to Hardbody shocks. I really hate when people just say buy Hardbody shocks and do not list a brand. There are probably 20 different brands of stock Hardbody shocks out there that are all differently valved oil and gas, and the Nitro Slammers are valved for lowered trucks for better handling.

The only difference between a NAPA Ranger shock and Hardbody shock is that they are a couple inches shorter nothing else, same valving.

I have to believe you have some knowledge of value, but no one would ever learn what it was with comments like this. Please, give some information on what you experienced. Did it ride too hard, too soft, what happened? This is what I personally am interested in knowing.

One of my desires is a bit softer rear suspension, but I'm not sure if my crap ride is from worn out shocks or the actual spring rates. From what I know of it I have the K springs front and rear (code is RK FK on the door tag of my 96 Splash). I would like a softer ride if possible.

That said I wonder what experience others have had with the flip kit 4" drop. I wonder how often they bottomed against the frame in normal road use. How often they bottomed with a load of say 500 lb in the bed. I expect the suspension to bottom when loaded up big time, but I'd like to know more.

Plain old expletives don't tell me anything, tell me what was shit about the ride. It would help me tremendously.

I'm curious as well as I am always receiving emails and comments from people telling me how much better their trucks ride after installing them.

Alright guys so I almost have all the money saved up for this 2/4 drop, and I'm still trying to figure out what all I need. Just what Stewart put up earlier? I just don't want to miss anything. Drop coils, flip kit and shocks is it? Where is the best place to get it all from? I just wanna.do this right.
