Default 1990 Xlt 2wd lowering..

So ive never lowered a truck.
i could bag it but havent found any direct bolt on kits.

I have heard of just chopping coils off the springs...BUT thats makes for a really ruff ride...

Would like to hear your comments and pictures helping to explain how to do this correctly.

Bagging a truck has a lot to it if your new to it I'd recommend just getting a djm 3/4 kit at first just to get use to driving low and see how it looks and make sure that's what you want plus you need the dream beams that come in the kit to bag it anyway

I've bagged a 98 neon...
But that kit was pretty much bolt on...
With a truck I see You have to cut the frame.. make clearance for the axle to lower.. move the fuel cell.. but I have no clue on how You would mount the links... Well to the axle..but to ? I know there is a lot of fabrication involved but does some body have a write up on the different bag mounting techniques and how they fabbed there truck...

Like always comments, pictures, concerns are very welcome.

Best reference I can give you is check out this link
http://www.rangerpowersports.com/for...de-263038.html

That should give you a good idea

And this

----------

The possibilities on bag mounts and links are almost endless with fabrication it pretty much just comes down to how you want to do it a lot of people use the front leaf spring hangers and the gas tank crossmember as reference for how long the link bars should be the kp components 98up kit actually uses those mounts for their bolt on cantaliver 4 link setup
