Default 1999 Ranger Drop Question?? Need some info

Can I use the belltech 3 inch drop springs, with DJM uppers and the stock lower arms? Just lookin for maybe a 3 inch drop but still want to be able to align it. I have the springs, and was gonna buy the uppers but wanted to make sure they would work. Any info is greatly appreciated...

The upper arms compensate for the changes in ball joint location from the lower arm, You should be able to have the truck aligned with just the drop coils and a good alignment shop that knows what they are doing.

So could I use just the drop coils on the factory control arms then? I could get the camber bolt kit if i had to. The truck came with the belltech springs for the front. Just wanted to make sure i can have a straight alignment after the springs are put in but i dont wanna put them in then i find out i needed somethin else...

Yeah you can providing you have good upper and lower ball joints the alignment cams will me close to if not maxxed out but you can get it in spec like brain said someone that knows what their doing. I had my truck dropped with just springs for a while and I did the alignment myself at the shop I worked at the time just watch them when they do the aligbment as it probably will take them about an hour or more

I really appreciate all the info. Ive got a friend that works at a local shop. He says they have a super nice laser alignment rack. Ill replace the ball joints when i do the springs. I could always get a camber kit if needed right??

The alignment shop (as long as the tech has a brain) will install the correct alignment eccentrics that are needed to get the truck in spec.
