Default Reg Cab DJM 4/5 questions

I just bought a 99 regular cab 2.5L with a manual trans. I've been looking through various picture threads and it looks like with the DJM 4/5 drop the truck might not sit level. I have not seen many pictures of similar trucks though. Most people either drop the regular cabs lower or have super cabs. I really like how this green truck is sitting. In the thread it says it has a 4/4 drop. I'm not interested in going lower or adding a c-notch.

I also couldn't find anything about how the ride is. In comparison to the factory ride, how is it?

The 4/5 drop is the most common kit I sell it does not have to have a notch. Anything lower though will need notched. I also mostly sell the kit with the Doetsch Nitro Slammers for the best ride and handling.

i have a reg cab short bed as well..the 4/5 honestly rides like the stock ride, just have to take it easy over big humps..it does handle much better though. As far as how it sits, my rear end looks like its a tad higher then the front..but i want to fill it out with new staggered cobra wheels..you will like it, if you like lowered trucks..

Not to jack your thread dude. But it seemed like a good place to ask.
I just bought a djm 2/3 kit end of last summer. I didn't want to go 4/5 as I was concerned about clearances with the 4/5 kit (plus the funds weren't available not to mention going 4/5 is as easy as getting shocks and the DJM arms and dropping the rear shackle a notch hole if I'm not mistaken)
So my question to goodolboy,
have you had any clearance issues whatsoever up front or rear?

what size wheel/tire combo you running (spacers or no)?

is your frame notched in the rear?

no clearance issues for me..im running stock wheels/tires..no spacers...no notch in the rear..the only issue i have in the front sometimes, is the tires will rub/hit the wheel well plastic when going over a hump and at the bottom, when the springs compress, your hear it rub..i want to put belltech springs up front and flip the hangar in the rear..i dont believe i will need a notch..i have a lot of clearance for some reason from the axle/bump stop..the truck sits great but wouldnt mind a little more drop
