Default Lowering kit HELP!!

Hey guys I'm looking to lower my 1996 ford ranger xlt 6 cylinder 4.0. I've looked all over for a kit but it seems all the kits are for 98's and newer, I'd like to go lower than 4 inches in the front and like 5 or 6 inches in the back. I'm looking for a kit that has everything in it. Can ANYONE please help, it would be greatly appreciated.

It is recommended to get the lowering shocks there are 2 ways to go about this buy climax ones that is an option when you order the kit or just buy front lowering shocks and get $20 nissan d21 pickup shocks for the rear that way ends up being a little cheaper

No that's it then. On some sites the shocks are an option I am guessing summit automatically includes them

After I install the 3/4 drop kit can I also put on lowering coils and lowering blocks to lower it even more?

Also i read somewhere that i might need a carrier bearing kit to realign my drive shaft because its an extended cab. Does anyone know if this is true?

Thank you all for all the help!!

You could get a c notch kit and do an axle over leaf swap in the rear, then arms, coils, spindles in the front for a 5/8 drop cheap.
Yeah lowering coils and blocks can be used too. Did your truck come with a carrier bearing originaly? If not then no, but measure your tail shaft to pinion distance you may need a shorter driveshaft

None of this applies to the OP's truck he has an I beam suspension so no arms and there are no lowering spindles for rangers

Yes with the 3/4 kit you can add drop springs to get 5 in the front if you add blocks with the flip kit Id recommend a bolt in c notch

I sell the components needed email me brian@illusivefabrications.com or check out
http://shop.illusivefabrications.com...-drop-i-beams/
http://shop.illusivefabrications.com...nger-flip-kit/
Best shocks http://shop.illusivefabrications.com...nitro-slammer/
Second best http://shop.illusivefabrications.com...-super-shocks/

You can also add 2" coils to the 3" beams http://shop.illusivefabrications.com...owering-coils/ for a 5" front drop. In the rear you would run the flip kit and either a 2" block or flip the rear hangers and shackles. More than a 4" rear drop will require a bolt in frame c notch, and I recommend installing raised crossmembers for added ground clearance as well.

What with all the posts with the AIM bag kits?
