IIRC, you can run drop spindles up front with a shorter coil-over than the ORW kits, and ditch the block out back.

No drop Spindles Tre, Get the Coilover mounts and run a lighter spring rate.

Well I was thinkin you could run DJM drop spindles, and run a shorter CO, or like you said, lighter rate CO spring...

a lil while ago i was lookin at a full djm 6/4 drop kit for my truck, it was an almost 800 dollar kit for everything. ppl keep telling me tho that since its an edge my torsion bars wont allow it so ima have to do a conversion no matter what.

Yea nobody makes a drop spindle for any ranger. The edges are limited to about 3" of drop in the front max before they become unalignable with the factory control arms. Your options are to either do the coilover conversion, crank down your torsion bars, or get the reindexed keys http://www.illusivefabrications.com/...roducts_id=437 (the keys have been on backorder from the manufacturer for a while, I have a few people waiting on them). If you go any lower than 3" you will need to have a custom upper control arm made for the truck. The only other otions besides swapping front clips is to do a regular 2wd chassis swap.
