Default Coilover suggestion ?

I have a 03 Mazda b3 t bar suspension . I'm going to do a custom 8 9 drop I have everything to make custom a arms and the skills for anything I come across this isn't my first drop just first time with a ranger. Is there anyone running coilovers on this big of a drop? If so what kind. Size. Spring rate , ext thanks

I sell upper and lower control arms for the torsion bar trucks the uppers are adjustable. you can get about a 6" drop out of them. Anything lower than that and you will need to remove your inner fenders. This drop also puts the transmission crossmember and engine crossmember close to the ground. Anythign lower than that I would suggest swapping the front suspension clip or Z'ing the truck

I've heard of Z'ing a truck before what's all involved?

Cutting the frame in front and behind the front suspension and raising the whole engine crossmember and frame rails up. Then you have to weld the frame back together and make boxing plates to reinforce it. Then you can try to lower the motor back down, if not then the transmission needs raised and the driveline needs corrected. For all that I would just swap in a Mustang II front suspension it has better geometry than the ranger anyways.
