plan to slam!
I am a proud owner of a 2003 ranger edge crew cab, atm im at stock height, but i really would love to get on to lowering my truck, ive been slackin for a while and im tired of bein lazy. i wanna start with a rear flip kit but i cant seem to find a good one, any of u guys know anywhere i can find a good kit for a decent price? i would appreciate any help and tips, im sure i can get some good pointers from you guys..thanks a lot

check out the online classifieds like craigs list, people are upgrading and selling their old setups all the time on there.

but should i trust used parts? ive never been a used parts kinda guy bc idk what to expect from them

you can tell by inspecting them before you buy. look for wear and cracks. if they are garbage you'll be able to notice the difference if in doubt don't buy it.

Good luck "Slamming" an Edge, because of your torsion bars you can really only get about 2" drop in the front and there are no kits for an edge.

yea i was worried about the torsion bars actually, i had a feeling they were gonna b a bother. i did think about doing a coil over conversion, but im not sure how to go about doing it, im kinda a newbie when it comes to suspensions, ive never done any work on them

Im wanting to lower mine in the future as well. Once I graduate, commission in the navy, and get another car then I am gonna take my 03 edge and lower it. Of course that means a very good flip lit and then also a good coilover conversion. It will take a lot to slam an edge but it would be a sweet truck!

i agree, its an all out badass lookin truck, especially if ur good at imagining it layin frame on the ground! i cant wait to get started on lowering it, im tired of the stock lift. thnx on the pic, i love that pic soooo much, it was actually a vid, but thats a clip outta it

I too want to bag my edge. So any help would be much appreciated. Besides I am Asian and therefore, I need to bag my truck. No stock height! No lifting! Either drop or pay a little more and get bags.
