un-crank t-bars
i got a buddy that wants to do this to get it low how many turns is safe?

You could go pretty far. till the bolt is almost out.

My buddy actually took the bolt all the way out on his explorer back in the day and it was fine. The other option would be some reindexed torsion keys.

There was a girl that came to a ranger meet once that took the bolts and bars out but it rode like crap

all the bolt does is extend that 'keeper block' up higher. removing the bolt is just fine. Camber's gonna be horrible. Still the WRONG truck to lower anyhow...
