My bad Smakes, it's been awhile since I talked about this topic, didn't know I asked the same question. Well I look into doing it, this weekend, I doing my new exhaust and the differential fluids and a new cover along with it. Next I'll be doing my alarm/starter and then I'll look into the lowering. Everyone down here is telling me not to do it. But I think is a good thing because it would make the control of the vehicle perform better. That and it would look beast with the 20's on. Thanks

Re: show us your low rider
I've started thinking about lowering my 94 ford ranger splash.
What stuff do I need and where can I get good information on lowering my truck?

your splash already has 1 inch drop coils in the front, so dont bother getting the 2 inch coils. i suggest you get your hands of a set of DJM Dream Beams, wich lower it 3 inches and cost about 375 shipped. as to the back, a "flipkit" makes it so that your leaves go under your axle, dropping it 4 inches. theres a guy on here named Brian that has a company called illusive design and Fabrication, and his prices are excellent. you can also purchase low profile transmission and radius arm crossmembers from him, wich will keep you from tearing your xmembers off going over a bump once your truck is lowered.

send him a PM and hell get you all set up

Re: show us your low rider
Its a bitch to do on beams. but If you do it get the djm dream beams. they are a tube design so clearance isnt so much of and issue. I cant complain i pretty much got the front setup for free. heres a recent pic with the 18s back on.

Re: show us your low rider
Very nice. Also you can get the bag kit from suicide doors but a better setup would have an upper bag mount custom made. That way the shock can be used on it too. I still dont have shocks on the front. fail
