Hi guys! I'm really new to the forum, but I wanted to share some info with the group. I just lowered the front of my 2009
2WD Ext Cab 4.0 Ranger. I used a pair of Belltech #4797 coil springs, a pair of Belltech #8000 Nitro Drop 2 shocks, and the Belltech #4952 camber bolt kit. All ordered from Stylin' Trucks. Good prices, fast shipping, and great customer service. Now, if you call Belltech, they will tell you that they don't have anything for the '09 but all this stuff fits and works GREAT!
The springs specify a 3" drop, but I got a full 4" drop using them. I removed the factory bump stops before I went to the alignment shop, and after getting it back, I then installed a pair of Energy Suspension #99132 ultra low profile (3/8" thick) button head bump stops ordered from energysuspensionparts.com (Best $8.99 I ever spent!) I chose the RED ones over Black since the RED will make my truck GO FASTER! (Just Kidding!) I used these same components 4 years ago on a 2000
reg cab 4.0 with the same results. Hope this helps those out there trying to research this. I have some Western Chassis rear leaf spring hangers that are supposed to lower the rear 1.5 inches, but have not gotten around to installing them yet! - John
