Question Springs and an Axle Flip Question

Anybody know what would happen if I used 3" drop springs in the front and a 5" axle flip kit in the rear on stock shocks? I don't plan to keep the truck this way but I'd like to drop it then change the shocks. Also, what are some good shocks to use for lets say a 7/9 drop

Yeah maybe bearable for that long I rode around no rear shocks for like 2-3 days when I first lowered my truck

Also 7/9 is pretty low what year is your truck

7 to 9 your going to have to get a new trans member , radias arm relocate brackets , which ain't badly priced . Fuel tank is another possible problem once your that low . I'm planning a 6/7 in my future

The rear will bounce and hit hard on frame with the stock shocks. I did my drop and ran stock shocks for less than a week. I couldn't take it anymore and when the drop shocks came in, boy what a difference! For the front, you can get away with using stock shocks but it will not last long. I ran stock shocks in the front and my front is lowered four inches and when I finally got around to installing the drop shocks for the front, the stock shocks completely bottomed out. Do it the right way at least for the rear and get drop shocks.
