Default moving the springs to under the axle

well my question is if i flip my springs from the top side to the bottom of the axle will my ride stay the same ? i would think so but dose this cause other problems such as drive shaft issues or vibrations?
and with that it drops the ass of my truck like 3" who makes something that drops the front for cheep?

P.S.
its a stock 09 xl 2.3 2x4

more like its gonna drop the ass of your truck 4 inches lol. youll need a flipkit to do that tho. and DJM makes 3 inch drop springs for the front. but hell, you should just buy a DJM 4/5 kit!

couldnt you just throw in an expo 8.8, they've got spring under axle, you would then just need to change the shock mounts

he could, but you also have to weld on spring perches. a flipkit is a hell of alot cheaper and easier

The standard 98+ flip kit is 5" but you can also get the 3" flip kit which comes with a 2" lift shackle.

will the rear tires rub if I drop the rear leaf springs to under axle? or is there enough clearance?

depends on the size of your tires and the offset of your rims.

just using stock 15 rims with either a 55 or 50 side wall... also will do a 2" spring drop in front or is 2" drop spindle better way to go?

nobody has ever made drop spindles, and your truck does not use "spindles" in the normal sense, our tucks are beam suspensions, if you use 2 inch drop coils youll need to purchase adjustable camber eccentrics to correct for the change in the suspension. i suggest getting the +/- 4.0 bushings (the max you can get).

With a 50 sidewall i dont think youll have any problem, i run a 225/60/15 with a 2 inch drop in the front and i dont rub, even at full lock.

edit : your truck is a splash, wich means youve already got 1 inch lowered coils in the front, 2 inch drop coils wont have much effect (just another inch)

if you want to slam it, get drop beams wich are a 3 inch drop.

lowered mine (97) splash dream beams up front and a flip kit in the back with a 1 inch lift hanger toxic shocks all around and smaller bump stops been cruising like that for 12 years no problems got about a inch of space between top of tire and metal on all four corners with 20 inch rimsDJM rocks
