A lot of fabrication skill
You can not drop a edge as easy as throwing a drop kit on it.
Easiest way to lower it is remove torsion bars or lower the torsion bar's by removing unscrewing the t-bar bolts. Then remove the rear block off the back axle

Un- crank your torsion bars, get reindexed (sp) lowering keys, or do custom coil over's. for the rear pull the factory block! Otherwise sell the truck and get a coilspring XLT

buying a diffrent truck is probably not what he wanted to hear
Ford should have put a decal on all edge trucks "this truck is a PITA to lower. please consider something else if thats what you wanna do."

You don't see guys wanting to drop their Tacoma Prerunners do you? Nope. People buy 'em to have a look of a 4x4, the height of a 4x4, but without being 4x4. lol. Same exact thing as Edges. It's a 4x4 w/o the front axle and transfer case.

Re: Lowering an 2wd edge
Well I didn't know that when I got my Edge. Actually I just got it because, one I knew I could do a lot of projects on it (which I did and still doing) and two it will last me a long time (which still is). I did not anticipate on it being a off road truck. I bought 20's for them and really want it to be a show truck more off a off road truck (since there is literally no where down here to go offroading). So would love it if there was a write up on how to get to the torsion bars to lower it. If there is a thread, point me to the right direction? So yea, thanks!
