Default Would this be all i need!?

I searched for lowering stuff and came to this:

Buy this to lower the rear 3"
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DJM-FK3098-3/

And cut the front spring myself to lower about 2" up front.

Would this not be the cheapest easiest way to accomplish a 2/3 drop?????

I see a $400 kit from djm and I don't see why nobody just does this.

Nobody does it because they go 4/5 right off the bat, or they do 2/3, discover it's not low enough, then go 4/5 by getting DJM arms and putting the stock shackle back in.

Don't hack job it....get 2" lowering coils(DJM or Roush or Belltech). Do it right.

Yes, that rear kit is good for 3" and it's what's included in the 2/3 kit. Don't install the shackles and that'll be 5" drop.

That $400 DJM 2/3 kit includes the shorter shocks you'll need....I don't think you considered that into the price adding up of individual pieces.

You need shocks to lower it 2" in the front? Is that to eliminate a pogo bounce or what?

it seems its easier and turns out cheaper to buy the kits to start with. the only vehicle i have ever lowered for cheap was a 94 isuzu rodeo. it was lowered (frame at 4" from the ground) for $30. torsion bars loosened and dropped and 4" blocks in the rear. unless you can do that its better to buy a kit.
