Going lower 3/6
Hey I currently have around a 3/6 drop. The back might be alittle lower but im not sure. I am wondering if i install 3in drop springs will i need to modify anything for nothing will rub? I am also wondering will it be impossible/hard to get my camber back rite?
I am running 20"s rite now so i hope it doesn't rub with the 3in drop springs.
Here is about how much clearance i have now in the front.

Re: Going lower 3/6
You will have to get an alignment. I have 18's with 2 inch drop coils. I didn't have to modify anything.

Re: Going lower 3/6
Bag it if you want to drop, if you plan to later just do the adult thing and save till u get what u want.
So much more fun to play with, so much better. Even rides better (although still like shit) than most lowered toys. What do I know.
That's how I did my charger. Saved for bags, I didn't get instant gratification for a year, saved to bag it about a year.
Personally, I'd never lower a pickup. But that's just me.

Woah that looks sick.
Well it cheaper to get the springs and ride around with a complete ride.. Then save for bags because i know thats going to take awhile

You choose man. My biggest problem with modding over the years (took me 5 to build that charger) is that I bought half-ass shit I ended up replacing later, rather than waiting and doing it right and getting the right shit.

its just a RWD intrepid (not flattering). Biggest piece of shit ive ever owned, only 30k miles. In comparison I've owned 15-20 Fords, my current 3 have 120, 125, and 140k (2003 explorer, 1998 taurus, 2003 ranger tremor)

Re: Going lower 3/6
Like I told ya on FB man its really a personal preference call. 3 inch wld look good but might rub a little at full lock and on big bumps. Throw ya a set of springs on it and rock it while you save for air ride. And ill throw one big piece of advice out that alot of people overlook when buying air ride. Spend the extra money and get name brand shit from reputable dealers. DO NOT buy from FBI, AIM, AirBagIt. Those are all knock off cheap shit and everybody i know has had problems with them. If you buy good parts the first time youll only have to do regular maintanence on an air ride truck.

Re: Going lower 3/6
It will more than likely rub on EVERYTHING. Bumps, turns, etc. Not to mention, about 2.5" in drop springs is like the maximum you can go and still be able to align it properly.

Mine is Unviersal Air Suspension, they made the kit specifically for chargers, and It's been on 3 years no fixes.
