Default Possible front clip conversion for 86 ranger
I'm baggin my 86 ranger and instead of buyin the drop i beams for it i'm wanting to convert my front end to an independent front end still using a disc brake. Im thinking that either a toyota or a chevy c10 or a mustang front end would work I'm just curious to what years would work.

I am unaware of anyone doing such a swap.

Please dont tant your ford with other auto makers stuff

There are lots of rangers with the toyota frame clip. There are some that have used mustang II but the yoda clips are better.

The toyotas use the same bolt pattern as the rangers too. You'd be looking for a 84-94 toyota..

ive heard/read the same about the yota clip. ive seen up close the mustangII clip on a ranger

lol, do you forget the majority if not all of the SAS'd guys use toyota steering boxes?
