97" Lowered
Hey, I lowered my Ranger! It wasn't too hard just too some time though. I am going to post pictures of how it looks now and everything. I notice i need some new shocks because when i go over a bump or something it will bounce..
What are some good shocks to get? Do i need to replace the front shocks also or just the rear?

Re: 97" Lowered
I'm guessing you went 3/4? DJM, belltech, are some good drop shocks to buy. I've also heard of people using nissan hardbody shoccks since they are shorter than ours. Be sure to post up pictures quickly! I want to see!
My truck rides suprisingly sporty for having stock shocks still. I have the drop shocks but haven't put them on yet.

Re: 97" Lowered
Thanks! I might remove them, the reason i got them there is because it was a few scratches from the previous ones. But i am thinking about getting darker tint on the back window, once i get everything else fix correctly.

Re: 97" Lowered
that looks good man, too bad you're so far away, we could be twins haha.
I mean, I don't have 20s but oh well haha.
You should de-pinstripe. It takes some work but it'll look killer.

Re: 97" Lowered
Yeah that would look real nice, I am thinking about just getting a whole new paint job but that would be my last thing..
The hard top cover will look good i was thinking about getting one of those but they are a little pricey.
I also want to get some drop shocks maybe 2in for the front and maybe drop the rear alil more so it can tuck under

Re: 97" Lowered
Why would you paint it? Everyone I ask loves the color of my truck...
And drop shocks don't lower your truck. You'd have to get drop springs for the front and lift/lowering blocks for the rear.

Re: 97" Lowered
Because the paint is kind of scratch in some places but nothing major. I am just talking about i might do that in the future.
I ment to say i order some Drop Shocks for the rear because rite now it is riding kind of ruff with the stock shocks

Re: 97" Lowered
replace your bump stops out back or cut em down for more travel
----------
i also went with nitro 2 drop shocks all around awesome ride can fly over tracks and land smooth lol....avoid toxic shocks way to stiff
