Default Pictures of 4/5 drop install.

If anyone has them can I see pictures of your 2/3 or 4/5 drop install. I want pics of how the leafs are supposed to bolt in under the axle and also will it be ok to ride without the drop shocks for a few days, I had to call stylen trucks to get them to send me the front two. Also how do you compress coils? I'v never done anything like this and i'm gonna attempt to do this. Thanks for all the help.

Are you doing the install now or is your buddy still doing it?

you may run into problems with your ebrake, mine, just from the extra slack hanging being 5 inches lower, applied the brake just enough to get the drum hot, i cut all that shit off after that

this is how i did the front.
i jacked up the truck, jacked up the control arm a tad, popped the upper balljoint out, popped the tie rod end off, removed the wheel speed sensor, lowered the control arm, popped the stock spring out (using a prybar, it was a little tough but it popped free)
the rear just three bolts for the leafs/ hangar, and eight nuts for the u bolts.

here's some pic's of my drop, more in the project logs in the thread for my truck. Good luck with the install, although I didn't think it was too difficult maybe 6 of 10 and that was only because the spindle's were hard as hell to get loose.

----------

Oh, and with the 4/5 compressing the spring is a non issue since you'll be doing the upper and lower control arms, the spring will slide right in to place with a little help by jacking the lower control arm up. *But make sure your spring cup goes in and is lined up properly*
Also taking it all apart will help wrap your head around how it will go back together, if you've never done something like this.
