Default Torsion bolt question

Dropping my ranger, and i uncranked the t bars. I had them up for when i was running the 31x10.5's, and now that ive uncranked them, i notice a little problem. The suspension drops perfectly, and does exactly what it should, however, the drivers side bolt doesnt look as though it is coming "out" when i loosen it. The threads come out of the female, however the bolt head doesnt come down. I am not doing the best job describing it i know, but its as if i am stipping the bolt so it doesnt come out, however it is dropping the torsion key.

Since I can't see what your talking about I have to ask Have you driven the truck since you made the adjustment ? even though you backed off the tension the hardware may be for lack of a better word stuck ? and needs time to settle in. I'm basing my info on 20yrs of RC racing (Stadium/Monster Trucks) even though we didn't have torsion bars every time we made any adj. we had to work the suspension to settle the components.hope someone chimes in and proves me right or wrong.

Can you post a pic of the torsion bar in question. and I see your location as Franklin, where Pa, TN ?

One other thing its my understanding when you adj.the bars you should have an alignment done.It might be best to have a mechanic look at it you don't want anything going wrong even at 20mph serious damage can happen.

Think about it,You had the torsion bar cranked up and by doing so you were twisting the bar and putting tension on it which created the lift you wanted now you've decided to remove the tension and the bars components are binding somewhere and not going back where they were in the beginning.did you loosen the tension too much? will the pcs.fall apart when you go down the road? I can't answer those questions and don't want anyone to get hurt.the suspension isn't returning to it's normal position and it needs to be looked at by someone more qualified than you or I.
