Exclamation Need advice for lowering my 96

I have a 96 B2300 and i bought a lowering kit with a block for the rear, I know that i am going to have to put the axle on top of the spring and that will be good for about how many inches? I was told by the guys at the store that there was a way i could use the block to get it lower too, how do i do this? By the way it's a 3 inch block.

yeah it's a lift/ lowering block. if i do the whole thing with flipping it and putting the block under there will it affect anything mechanical wise? like my brake lines or my driveshaft?

i had my 96 lowered 5/7. use the flip kit, then flip your shackles, thats will get you around 6-7 inches, i wouldnt worry with the block if it was me, also do you have the lowering beams for up front ? o and yes, after about 5 inches, your going to want to notch it..

no for the front i was just going to lower the torsion bars some, i only want about 2 inches, i don't want to buy springs or i beams as of now. So on the rear i should just flip the axle to the top and leave it like that or can I go farther, i want it was low as i can without notching it or flipping the shackles for now, so how far will just the lip kit alone bring me down, and the torsion bars?

can't afford it man, is cutting the coils about 1 or 1.5 coils an option, how badly does it affect the ride?

it'll ride like shit! save up and get the kit, it's well worth the money. When it come to your suspension do you really want to go cheap? I wouldn't!
