98 ranger front suspension?
i am looking to lower my 98 soon, but i only want to drop the front 2 or three inchs. i want to use the uper and lower djm control arms but don't want to go the full four inchs, i think i read some where that i could use the control arms and stock springs for a 2" drop. has any one heard of this? would the front end be 2 stiff? and does any one make a 1" drop coil for a 98? i know what i am doing in the back(3" drop belltech leafs) any help would be great.

Re: 98 ranger front suspension?
if i were you, i would go with some drop spindles that way you keep the factory ride. I have a fully bagged 98... check my pictures.

Re: 98 ranger front suspension?
First off, they don't drop spindles for Rangers. Next, you can run DJM arm's with stock springs for 2" drop. If you want a 3" drop you can cut a coil. I would not get the 1" drop springs from AIM (stay away from all AIM products). If I were you I would just buy the DJM 4/5 kit because trust me you'll want to be that low eventually.

Re: 98 ranger front suspension?
Running the DJM arms with stock coils would ride like stock. THe control arms raise the placement of the balljoints and re-angles them. Check out the vendor section, I have a list of links to all the different ranger drop parts I sell. I will say though the DJM 4/5 kit is my most popular selling kit and I have different shock options available as well.
