Most people run air ride these days but juice is not dead. I have done a couple juice setups but I don't have any pics because it was before I had a good camera lol. I can set you up with a kit for air ride or hydraulics if your interested shoot me an email to brian@illusivefabrications.com also check out rangerpowersports.com you might have more luck for pics on there.

I am 33 and lived through the 90s listening to Dr. Dre and always said I will have that lol. Everything I have seen so far with tue air setup I don't like it and seems a lot more expensive. I want quick on the fly response and bags look like they have more chance of something going wrong.

lol air ride is no where near as expensive as juice. for the cost of hydro pumps and 15 batteries in the bed you could bag, and body a truck and do more shit.

it really varies on the setup, you can make hydraulics ride good liek a stock vehicle with accumulators and it goes up and down slow or you can make it hop and ride like crap. Bags can be setup for hopping but you do have a refill time unless you have a nitrogen tank but you still have to refill the nitrogen or have a backup compressor. Hydraulics you have to charge the batteries and deal with dead batteries all the time and if you get a leak in the system you get oil every where. Its personal preferance and like I said I sell all the major air ride components on the market as well as a couple hydraulic brands.

How is the ride with air bags and how difficult are they to install? Can the truck still be driven similar to an everyday driver? I just really don't know anything about them. I don't want anything for hopping ect just to raise it for driving and to sit it low when I am parked.

I drive my ranger year round with air ride through the winter in the snow and everything. it's been probably 4 or 5 years since I bagged my daily. With a properly setup air system the truck will ride like a lincoln/caddy/land rover thats is on factory air.

How much would it be for an air system for my truck? Just want to be able to raise it for a comfortable drive and lower it for when I am parked. How hard are they to put on?

shoot me an email for exact pricing. Most reliable air kits can range anywhere from $1500-$2200 on average depending on the components and setup used. It requires some fabrication but the brackets are more readaly available than hydraulic brackets that will fit right on a ranger.
