First off, which DJM kit are you looking at? The DJM 3/5 kit I bought when I first dropped mine came with shorter shocks as part of the package.
As far as keeping stock shocks, it's possible if 2/3 is all the drop you're doing. Keep in mind you'll be riding below the normal height those shocks are meant to sit at, so they can easily be damaged or wear out prematurely even with very light driving.
I didn't use any camber bolts when I first dropped mine, and while I did have a reasonable bit of camber, I was still able to adjust the toe of the truck just fine. I moved up to coilovers and DJM upper control arms up front and nitro drop 2 shocks in the rear, but as a basic first step, worst case a set of those shocks all around isn't too expensive.

Also like to add, mine was $200 including the shocks that came in the 3/5 kit and optional 6" rear shackles.
