Default B4000 restomod

Hey y'all!

I figured I'd start a thread here and share my 98 B4000 fix-up project.

I've owned it since new, and it has only 81k miles. The Texas sun has taken its toll on the hood and roof paint, but I'll get that fixed soon.

My mods so far are:

Hurst shifter with custom extension and boot.

New stereo.

New wheels and tires.

Belltech sway bars (not yet installed)

And last but not least, I've started gathering supercharger bits.

Now, I know I'm posting in the lowered suspension forum, so that's on my list too! I don't want it as low as the DJM 4/5, so I'm looking at the Belltech 3" kit. I don't see much talk about it here though. If any of you guys have used it, or know of a good reason why I shouldn't use it, I'd love to hear about it!

I'm having fun tinkering with this truck, and not being my daily driver means I'm in no rush to do things. Keeps it relaxing.

Nice truck! I love the choice of wheels.

Thanks! I spent weeks trying to decide (and drove my wife nuts), but finally made a choice. I'm really pleased with how they look too.

Will look even better after you drop it. Also you may know already, but you can replace your headlights/corners with the 2001+ that are crystal clear. Easy change that makes a big difference.

Thanks, I did not know that about the corners! I'll look into that. I recently put new headlights in, my originals had already been polished once and were already looking ratty again.

I was hoping to find some reviews or feedback about the Belltech 3" drop kit, but nothing so far. Guess I'll just give it a go and see how it works! If I hate it I can always go back to stock.
