Default 1994 Ford Ranger Lowering help

I just bought a 1994 Ranger today. Bone stock, 5 speed, 2.3L with only 64k miles on it. This is the first truck I've owned, and I bought it because I also bought a moped and I want to transport it in the bed of my new truck.

For this reason, I want to lower my truck to make it easier to get the moped into the bed. I'm looking to lower it to make it flush with the wheels. So i guess 4-6 inches. I also plan to get some aftermarket wheels to.

Whats the best way to lower my truck? I was thinking of flipping the leaf springs under the axles in the back, and just getting new springs in the front. Is this the best way?
