Nissan hard body shocks on a ranger?
I was told that you can use the Nissan hardbody rear shocks for the rear Ranger shocks. If this is true does anyone know the year of the nissan hard body or a part number? And also can you use the ones off the front? Cause if this is the case i'm gonna buy some shocks from work and get a discount.

Re: Nissan hard body shocks on a ranger?
i have hardbody air shocks on the rear. the hardbody shocks are shorter than a ranger's stock shocks, so they work better on a lowered truck. if you use stock ranger shocks, they will bottom out being lowered.

Re: Nissan hard body shocks on a ranger?
The only difference between rear stock ranger and rear stock hardbody shocks is that hardbodys are a couple inches shorter. If you go to napa or somewhere the valving is going to be the same between both shocks the lengths are just different. There's nothing magical about hardbody shocks like some people think haha. I've never checked the measurements on the front hardbody shocks to compair them to a ranger. It just depends on the amount of drop you are doing and how.
