Ok hear me out, as you can see I have just joined this forum and my reason for doing so was in regards to this thread.
I did read most of it, all the way thru about 4 pages of misery but that is fine, anyways on with my thing,
my wife has a 96 ranger splash extend cab that I have put a nice custom paint job on within the last few months, but now it needs rims, my buddy has a set of nice 20'' rims and tires for a damn good price seeing that he just paid over two grand for them and when he put them on his bagged 97 ex cab they were the wrong offset and he wound up cutting both of his back airbags, oh well,,, sucks to be him,,,,,, anyways back to my question again, would they fit under the flair fenders, or even a better question how much should it be lowered to make it look nice, and keep in mind that this is my wife driving it as a daily driver so it does not need to scrape when she hit some rail road tracks.

give me some ideas please,
I can get some pics up of the truck if it would help, and also it is all stock besides the paint so that will give you all some ideas of how far the suspension has sagged.

With the splash, I would probably just level out the rear, and leave the front alone if you want to avoid rubbing. Without knowing what offset and width the rims are can't really give you any idea how well they would in the fenders.

That said, post up some pics, 'cause we love pic whores!

Flip the rear hangers and shackles to drop the rear 2" and install a set of Belltech 2" front drop coils. This will drop the splash 1" in the front.

as for the OP and his question everything from any splash will bolt up to the same generation ranger

i have splash suspension on my truck along with a 3/4 lowering kit
