Because they are "special" factory only springs......right

You know what? You're argument is stupid, and for arguments sake only. I never told you you were wrong, just that there is a possibility that you don't know everything, and neither do I. Regardless of if the Splash sits any lower than an XLT, or whether you can buy the replacement Splash springs from Ford, my post told the OP what he needed to take from the donor truck, and low he was likely to sit based on his description of what parts he had. Thats what this thread is about. I'm done.

Dam that was a long thread hijacking. Thanks to the people who responded to my question. I'll tell the guy I need the leaf springs too, just in case the splash has 1 inch lower leafs. I know for sure that it's 1 inch in the front. Cause my old 1996 ranger xlt all stock fit 31x10.5xr15 tires with no rub lock to lock. My friends 1996 all stock splash tried to fit the same tires I had and it rubbed in the front so bad he couldn't drive it.

I can guarantee you that there isn't a 2wd Ranger that will fit 31x10.50's stock. A 4wd '93+ Ranger can fit them stock without any problems.

Then how did I put 12,000 miles on my 1996 ranger with these tires and 2,000 miles with my 1997 ranger??? Dam you must not know Anything about rangers. You argueed this whole thread. Tires were bf goodrich allterain tko's.
I have pictures of both my rangers to prove it. And I have pictures of the 96 ranger with the tires pulling a 6,000 lb trailer. No rub.

I didn't read all of this but the 2wd splashes were 1" lower from the factory. People that install 2" Belltech coils on a splash only gain 1" of drop. People that install the Belltech coils on the regular 2wd trucks gain 2" drop. This fact has been known for years.
