Lowering an 06 2wd
I'm gonna get straight to the point...
1. since there are no drop spindles for the ranger how would i lower the front 5 inches w/o cutting the springs?
2. what would be the most cost efficient way to do a triangulated 5 link w/ coilovers in the rear?
3. does anyone have a fuel cell they would be willing to part w/ and if so how much? (preferably 16 gallons)
sorry for the rudeness but i don't want anyone posting questions to my questions... any help would be greatly appreciated...

Re: Lowering an 06 2wd
1. DJM upper and lower control arms with 3" belltech drop coils
2. Why a 5 link and coilovers? why not just do a flip kit and have the same ride.
3. No I dont have one

Re: Lowering an 06 2wd
because i like the idea of the axle staying in place when cornering and keep it planted to the ground specially when i put the 3.3l sc motor in it.
thanks about the front
its cool man i wasn't sure if anyone had one lying around they would be willing to sell, just don't want to have to deal w/ jegs or summit for the tank

Re: Lowering an 06 2wd
well for one theres no such thing as a triangulated 5 link, and if there was one it would work best for air ride and not coilovers, (wishbone 5 link) triangulated 4 link +2 bars = a 6 link.

Re: Lowering an 06 2wd
yea usually the panhard bar is not counted as a link since it has its own name kinda like a watts link would not be counted as 2 extra links.

Re: Lowering an 06 2wd
Yeah, I would recommend and axle flip and panhard on the back, maybe some slappers to control wheel hop. I went with the Explorer rear axle and sway bar, and it worked pretty well for me, though I did have a slight issue with wheel hop when powering hard out of turns.
