Default tubbing the front for a body drop

Ive got a 99 long bed 2.3 liter bagged and 4linked. Has anyone ran into problems making room for the tires and had to relocate anything. I have 18's and it seems I have enough room but I may need to remove/ relocate a black box I believe is my a/c. It doesnt work anyhow but I dont want to remove it and have it interfere with any other systems. Any experiences with this?

I suppose it depends on your welding skills or the availability of a welder. I turn mine down almost all the way. Then weld a dot around the edge of the hole one at a time until its covered or mostly covered. good body filler like CUZ will take care of the rest. little spendy but worth it. Just make sure you wait a min between welds, its real easy to warp your fender. Other people take pieces of metal screen like from your screen door and hold it on the inside of your fender. make sure you;ve beveled the hole a little with your grinder and spread filler over the holes so it sticks to the screen. This method can be annoying. The screen gives the filler something to stick to and you just sand it down. I weld it though cuz I dont need it to crack out and leave me with a f***ed up paint job. Let me know how it goes

You can either ditch the blower box and shave the firewall or fabricate a custom blower box.

I will have to look into that. Not sure what the blower box is or how it works but if its that simple I should be able to figure it out. Thanks

I found a site with info on fabricating/ modding blower boxes for s10's. Dont know if anyone else needs this but it gives a pretty clear picture of what needs to happen. I will be posting step by step pics when I build mine. Thanks slammedxonair for the post. Just the clues I needed.
