@Danger - I'm looking at doing the same thing. My TC is shot and I have multiple other issues with my front suspension. So, I'm look to convert to a 4x2 and go with a 302 v8 and drop the suspension, seems though, the more I dig the more of a bitch this truck is turning into. I wish I still had my S10.

x2. If we are talking about 4x2, then that's okay. But a 4x4?! why would you lower one? It's a 4x4, it's meant to be lifted or stock but with big ass wheels.

I was going to start looking into lowering a 4X4 just because the only reason I use my 4 wheel drive is to get through the snow. I wanted to lower mine just to give it a more aggressive look but still be able to use the 4 wheel.
