Here is mine, and she is a 2002 4 cylinder automatic, with power windows, locks & mirrors, and currently only about 85,000 miles. I lowered it about two years ago using a DJM 4/5 kit and had been running the stock painted seven spoke wheels until this morning. Now it has 18x8 and 18x9 American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with 225/45/18 front and 255/40/18 rear BFG G-Force Comp2 A/S tires. My next step is to get a set of adjustable camber bolts for the front to pull the tops of the fronts in (instead of out) a bit.

Someday, maybe it will have a v8.

Finally got my pos lowered, 3" beams, one coil off stock springs, axle flip. Wheels are 15x7 4.5" BS with 1.5" spacers, 195/65-15. Rear are 15x8, 3.75" BS and 215/65-15. I think it needs at least another inch up front and two in the back. I test drove it real quick and its still a little soft, anyone cut more than a coil off? Say 1.25-1.5 coils?
Bad picture I'll get more once its aligned better.

Default Official Static Drop Thread

Looking legit brotha . I just swapped wheels over a a few weeks ago to cv 16" steelies . Same setup with a shackle mount flip for the extra 2 in the rear . Sets level for me with the 5.0 up front and saggy front cut springs . I'm in the middle of tunneling the cab and c notching . Want to go another 1.5-2" all around . Going to buy 3" drop coils for the front and block the rear since i got expo out back . Steelies are on 235/60/16's right now and throw smoke

One from a few weeks ago

Tunnel hole cut

Building tunnel

Tire slayer

And one today

Yes I'm driving with that hole still . And that's my boy kickin it on the bed and welding . Trust noone else lol

Looks good and yes 97 and older trucks you can cut 2 coils off 98 an up only one coil

Are you running explorer shock mounts? If not you may want to consider them

Thanks guys, you have good looking trucks yourselves.
At least 1/2 coil is coming off then
I was thinking of going to the explorer plates myself, depending on how low the rear ends up.

I'm running the whole rear from the 5.0 expo with the expo leafs and shock plates . Bought the extra passenger side one from ford to make it a no weld setup . I bought the whole 96 5.0 expo for $1050 and swapped everything over Including obd2 into a 94 chassis . Believe me that was a headache right there

Good deal. The shock plates make it nice going that low because of how much lower they mount. I run am expo axle as well and have had 3" blocks under it for a long time

Kinda in between right now . With it being my dd now since the swap everything I do has to be done the same day to get home . Forces me to finish I guess . Step would be nice and the way my flatbed is I have more room for a step notch then most and not have to cut the bed . I found one in frame style that's sets pretty deep up in the frame and comes with backing plates and bumps . More a universal but screw it since it getting welded .
