No don't have a pic :/ so the u shaped metal bracket that the axle sits in with the off set hole for the spring center pin. The axle sits up higher in the bracket so that the bracket doesn't touch the under side of the factory spring perches. So you could rock the pinion up and down. It's like the bracket sides need to be longer or my factory spring perches are sitting up higher than normal...

----------

Here is my pile of parts. My dd 98

4/5 with front cut springs for almost 5 inches up front.
Stock 15 inch xl wheels and tires until I get wheel spacers for my black 5 spoke cobra replicas.

Here it is with my other pile of parts that is on 33s with maxed t bars and 3 inch body lift.

Did the U piece center hole fit through the spring center pin? On Ian's we had to bore out the center hole on the U piece. Pictures will help out A LOT!!

Yeah the pin is in the hole and the bracket is sitting flat on the springs. Maybe the center pin is sticking up too high and the axle is sitting on them instead of in the bottom of the bracket. I just thought of that. I'll get some pics tomorrow.

Wheels my uncle gave me didn't fit the front so I'm waiting to get a different size.

Seeing these pictures brings back memories. My first truck was a 1996 ranger single cab, step side with a 2.3l and auto trans.

Mods were:
3/5 drop
Djm dream beams front and Djm flip kit rear
Leer color matched hard cover
17 billet eagle alloy wheels
Billet grill upper and lower
Euro clear headlights and corners
Euro tail lights
4x4 lower valance with fog lights
Flowmaster exhaust
Kicker sound system

I know i am missing a few things but I sold it 9 years ago. I would pay anything to get it back.

That's clean!

Except the tires. Gimme a scrub brush, some APC, and some dressing.

Yeah tires got soapy scum on them from the alignment shop. It's taken them 3 times so far. It's almost aligned right... I cut the mud flaps about 2 inches shorter after this pic. They scraped constantly with my dirt bike in the bed.

So here's a better pic of my baby,

Mods to come-
Fix the black below the body line.
New djm arms
C-notch the frame so I get more suspension travel.
Paint the bumpers and grille

All I can think of for now.

Were you at MJR in Southgate earlier tonight? Because I saw a truck similar to yours and parked on the other side of the car next to it.

Its so odd being from SoCal and seeing so much product and industry coming from there as a Previous performance/custom shop owner in Michigan and growing up in Michigan.

NOW since moved back to SoCal in 09' and seeing so many people from Michigan on a forum, especially from my own backyard is equally odd because I know the entire Downriver community like the back of my hand, well minus whats changed in the last 5 years.. lol

Grew up in Southgate and Trenton, had a huge shop in Troy of 13.5 mile and Dequinder.
