If you're not happy with the price of the Superlift - you won't like the total with the coilover conversion.

If you want 'lift' you still have to buy the Superlift kit - The coilover conversion modifies the Superlift.

What the coilover conversion does is it replaces the torsion bars with a coilover setup. The conversion itself isn't a lift kit - but it rides much better than the standard Superlift does.

The coilover conversion is basically a copy of the brackets that were originally used with the RCD coilover suspension lift offered years ago. These brackets allow you to run a coilover setup & remove the torsion bars altogether.

The 5.5" RCD coilover suspension lift is what I have on my truck (in addition to the bodylift).

I agree with all of Logan's answers. Double Lifting opens up a whole new can of worms on these 98+ trucks. 6 years in or so and I still question the decision every now and again. You've got gears, tires, shocks (superlift shocks are JUNK and there's nothing else short of converting to coil-overs), among other things. But, she does look AWESOME.

Keep an eye out on here or the other Ranger Forums or even your local craigslist.... In fact, over the past year or so, there's been a 5" RCD and a 4" Superlift on the Seattle craigslist. Check the Portland one too. That's where I found mine years ago.

Yeah, I was hoping that there would be a cheaper alternative to a suspension lift but realistically I knew the answer before I even asked. 1300 isn't that bad if you compare it to a full size truck lift. My dad is planning on lifting his dodge this summer and the kit for that is almost as expensive as my truck was haha better start saving money now!
Logan and FX4wannabe I hope my truck is one day as tall as yours

Logan03O, in post 13, I really like the look of that Blue FX4. I have a bone stock 2007 FX4 and I'm thinking of lifting it. Do you know anything about the blue FX4? I assume it has the Superlift, does it also have a body lift? What size are the tires? I'd really like to keep my stock wheels, but it seems like the limit for them is LT265/75R16. Are those LT285/75R16?
