And in all honesty, you've got freakin' 10 blocks there. I wouldn't even worry about adding those support blocks because I *think* that where they're supposed to go, there's actually bolts there. Just run your lift blocks through each bed bolt and that's more than enough. The blocks and stock bed x-members are really strong. Hell....I loaded up 1500lbs of scrap in the bed of my 3" bodylifted truck and am not running support blocks.....no bed or anything of the bed floor.
EDIT: YUP....Here's an '09 and the 4th and 5th bolts from the back is where the extra bolts are mounted. Those same spots are where the bed supports go on the typicial 3" BL on older models.
Yep it is one of the plastic crap bed liners lolol. And she's gonna be sold (replaced with Line-X).
Actually I just went to pick my son up. And I checked underneathe the truck bed (with my Maglight) and sure enough there are 10 bed bolts like you said. All bow to Shane (Ranger Gui lol). Your pic of the box helped confirm it for me to. Thanks Shane.
This works out even better than I thought then. Because now I know the
1"BL's will work perfectly for the bed cross rail supports (X-menbers). As like you say, they have bed bolts there in that location for 09+ (were there are no bed bolts were the supports go on models prior to 09).
This is good news! (I was a little worried for a minute there! Can lmao now though).
Glad I bought 16 and not 12.
In looking at the PA and Summit 3"BL Kits. It looks like they only come with 14 blocks. So this is good info for people wanting a 3"BL Kit for a 09+. As they will need 2 extra blocks with thier 3"BL Kits. There is no 2009-2010 model year updates on thier web sites as of yet for the BL Kits.
Thanks for the clarification Shane
