Default Skyjacker FR36S on Superlifted 2009 Ranger

Hey All,

I've got some Skyjacker FR36S springs on order for my '09 Ranger 4x4.

It's got the Superlift 3-4" kit installed, which adds a 3" block to the 1.5" factory block.

Does anyone have experience with the FR36S springs and how much heigh they add? By my rough math if I take the Superlift and factory blocks out, I should get a 1.5" height gain 6"-(3"+1.5")=1.5".

Sound about right?

Has anyone else done this swap? Did you keep the Superlift bump stop extender and shocks? Any tips to share?

Thank you!
P

I have them & your going to be riding high in the rear alright.

I have the 5.5" RCD coilover suspension lift & I'm running the 6" Skyjacker springs sitting right on the axle tube (no blocks at all) - and I sit a little higher in the rear. I have the flexibility to adjust my coilovers some to make it perfectly level if it bugged me too much.

It really comes down to the look you're going for. If you want a fair amount of rake - that setup would get it done.

You can keep the goofy bump stop extenders if you want - Doubt you will get near them. lol

Also, I can't believe the standard Superlift shocks would be an issue - but it's best to check, I'm sure you will be fine.
