body lift on rusted truck?
I finally have my body lift here and ready to put on. I pulled off my bed liner and of course the bed is rusted through in one spot so ill have to fix that but my main concern is how many people have rusty northern trucks with a body lift? Im worried about breaking bolts and having problems due to the rust later on. Has anyone ever had major trouble from a truck with rust after a body lift?

Ive been doing that on the cab but how the heck do you get to the top of the bolts on the very front? And is the best way to get em out with heat and air gun or should I use the breaker bar?

I haven't done a body lift so idk how to get to them and I'd use an impact so you don't spin the head of the bolt off using to much force

I just did a BL on my truck and im a northern truck. It was a pain in the butt. Heat, PB blaster and a breaker bar are your friends. I had to cut the head off one of my core support ones to get it off.

Re: body lift on rusted truck?
I'm thinking about pulling the air gun out first. Anyone ever had bolts break?
