Default Lift

How much lift do i need to fit 33's on my truck. Would i be able to fit them with a torsion bar crank, or would i have to get the superlift?

All 98+ Rangers have a Torsion Bar Setup up front. You can "crank" on the bars to adjust the height of the front end which puts the CV axles at a greater angle (which lift the front end). Doing so may cause increased wear on suspension though.

I don't mean to correct you but I'm pretty sure it's on 4x4's only.

I've heard the same. 33x10.50 will fit, 33x12.50 will not.

Search! It's basically preloading the torsion bars to raise the level of the truck... http://www.fordrangerforum.com/how-s...sion-bars.html

It applies to 4x4s as well as the 2WD edge & 2006+ sports.
