Okay so I just ordered the 4in Rough country lift kit for my 95' 2.3L 2WD single cab nothing crazy yet ranger.

Just wondering if you guys know of anything else I am going to need to buy/replace when I install it....

So, I've seen this lift kit used all over the site...anyone out there install it themself have any tips for me??

Well it states on their website If you have the front sway bar (I'm sure you do) you'll need drop brackets. Or make your own. Other than that, if I were you I'd soak the Pitman arm with PB blaster Now, untill the lift comes in. Even with the pitman arm puller, its still a bitch, it'll keep slipping off. And a BFH. I really wouldn't use heat...And you might have camber issues. Camber bushings are cheap and easy to install. Then alligment. I think thats pretty much it. I've had this kit on one of my 2wd and their 4in for 2 of my 4wd's. Very easy. Good luck man!

Thanks for the tips man going to get the PB blaster after work and start coating it...Only have until tomorrow when I start though!

Just try and spray the output shaft. Try not to get any on the sides of the pitman arm. That is where the puller clamps too. Its like a pully puller if you know how those work. Do you have the pitman arm puller? If not you can rent them from advance auto parts. Just spray, go inside eat, spray again, go inside and take a poop, spray agian, etc. Ask me how I know
